Daily Do's

So...in a bid to get organized, the other day I sat down and made a list of everything I would like to get done daily, 2-4 times a week, weekly, and monthly. Then I made a calendar of when I thought each thing would best be done (except for the everday things). When I had done that, I copied it all down into a daily list to make it easier for me to see exactly what I had to do. My idea was that if I just wrote it all down, it wouldn't seem so overwhelming. Wrong. Now I know exactly why I can never seem to get it all done no matter how hard I try. Here is today's list of daily do's:

feed animals
make beds
get kids dressed
breakfast
brush teeth
laundry
dishes
kitchen
work out (yeah, right!)
living room
lunch
grocery shopping
fill water jugs
water garden
gather eggs
letters/numbers with Jacob
dust
dinner
dishes
feed horses
take out trash
pajamas
brush teeth
read with kids
say prayers

And every single day is just that busy, except for Sunday. But because we have a garden and animals, even Sunday isn't chore-free. So there you have it. I will never get it all done, and now I know why. I guess you can never stop trying, though.

Yikes! Try grocery shopping once a month, or at least only every other week. That would save a lot of time.
